What happens if my store outgrows its plan

RevLogic's plans are sized by order volume, and stores grow. Here's exactly what happens if your business outgrows the plan you're on — no surprises, no lock-outs, and no lost data.

How we measure your size

RevLogic looks at your 90-day average orders per month — your order count over roughly the last three months, divided by three. We use an average on purpose: one busy week or a seasonal spike won't push you into a higher plan. It takes a sustained increase in your real order volume for your average to cross into the next band.

The plan bands are:

  • Basic — up to 300 orders/month
  • Grow — up to 1,500 orders/month
  • Advanced — up to 6,000 orders/month
  • Plus — up to 20,000 orders/month

What happens when you cross a band

If your 90-day average grows past your current plan's limit, RevLogic will show a notice inside the app letting you know your volume now fits a larger plan, and asking you to switch. We don't silently upgrade you or start charging the higher rate without telling you.

You'll have 7 days to move to the plan that matches your volume. This gives you time to review it and choose yearly or monthly — it isn't an instant cut-off.

Switching is one click

When you're ready, switching takes a single click on the plans page. Shopify handles the billing change and prorates it, so you're only ever paying for what fits your store. The whole app keeps working exactly as before — the only thing that changes is which band you're billed under.

Nothing is ever lost

This is the important part: no data is ever lost when your plan changes. Your synced orders, customer profiles, call list, tasks, notes, activity history, and merchandising strategy all stay exactly as they were. Moving between plans changes your billing tier and nothing else. The same is true if you ever move down a plan because your volume dropped.

Why we do it this way

RevLogic prices on order volume because that's what drives the work behind the scenes — every order is synced, profiled, and folded into recommendations. Pricing this way keeps the smaller plans genuinely affordable for smaller stores while making sure high-volume stores are on a plan that can carry the load. The in-app notice and the 7-day window are there so growth is a conversation, not a shock on your invoice.
